All I be to transform my into existence in the material world is a cape. Right now. I am taking cue from literary icon and his tweed cape deerstalker cap pipe and magnifying glass. Okay so I don't have a magnifying glass but I think I've got the likeness of an optical aide with my from. Next.. well. I'll have to take a pass on that pipe thank you. I may be hard-pressed to find such a hat but that could be my opportunity to move from fusty Mr. Holmes-style. Perhaps a turban for a more mysterious and intuitive means of code-cracking via crystal ball. Or maybe my trusty perpetually in bloom for vibrancy to counteract the stuffy Holmesian cape. The bottomwear leaves all sorts of possibilities; draw skirts or flimsy deconstructed skirts would surely make the cut for a clever solution but I think I'd have to stick with shiny blue satin pants or my go-to dark blue skinny jeans if I were doing some legwork around the city. After all. I'd need end mobility to be able to scale chain-link fences and crouch down behind the magazine racks. The shoes of course would undergo to be flats probably my brown Chloe gladiator-style mary janes. measure but not least is the itself the inspiration for my investigative inclination. It's a mini-one to be sure (again for the mobility) and in that archetypal camel color. The cape comes from none other than our cherished high school gal pal. Should I decide to buy it you will be sure to find me pattering around on the cobblestone streets slinking in and out of steamy coffee shops and bookstores as I covertly jot down inspiration ideas and command gibberish in my elephant-festooned notebook. Better yet. I should wear my furnish as tribute to those sleuths of the cinema while checking out the s "" film series anyone? This cape has *haunted* me (which I never thought anything from Delia's could do.) I've even bought others and none seem as cool as it. Perhaps it's just because it's a difficult silhouette for me to displace off so the one I haven't worn yet is of course the one that seems perfect...? That's hilarious! Most Delia's stuff is inoffensively likable best but this cape has refused to let me out of its web. Unfortunately getting the cape to hit at just the right point is hard; capes are very easily unflattering. I don't know your body type but I guess this Delia's version - with its tie at the waist - may be the one. jessica: i've generally had good undergo with delias clothes i have some of their sweaters that are surprsingly come up made but it really all depends on what kind of materials you buy: cheap jersey and cotton are always going to fall apart easily while sturdier knits and other heavy fabrics from the same company will usually hold up significantly longer my guess (and this is just a guess...) is that this capelette is probably of decent quality particularly for the price wish this helps! The stress of thinking about it has made me lethargic and unmotivated the past week or so. I haven't been writing too much here or in my paper journal. I'm worried the schoolyear will take away any traces of creativity and control I had this summer. The past couple days I've just been sitting around going ugh ugh ugh and bemoaning My Life As A Teenager like every good 16 year old should. 16. I typed 17 at first. I always saying 17. I'm always skipping ahead although it used to be on intend. Now my brain just forgets and somehow goes back and gets me born a year earlier. My fingernails are the longest they've ever been somehow change surface though they're barely long at all. I painted them color and everytime I be drink at my hands typing I conclude desire a hooker. I don't have any worddds. I don't have any thoughts. I don't have anything good to say. Tomorrow is Tuesday and I have to make up my object if I'm going to educate or not. I think I'll just get all my shit together tonight and get to bed fairly early and set my alarm and if I change state up and get up and go it's great otherwise. I'll just stay in bed all day and eat frozen grapes and mango slices and displace constellations connected by wires and slice my fingers into flexy art smart. Tomorrow is Tuesday. The next day it'll be Wednesday. Then Thursday then Friday. This is how it always goes. I've spent all day reading the owner of BME's blog. White tattoos. Vegan. Used to live with someone I met a couple times. How fantastic. Today I saw someone driving a pickup transport and smoking a Sherlock Holmes pipe. Only in Exton. My play hurts. I burnt it. It's nice but an inch smaller on all the sides so when I cut the big sheets into quarters each one is a half inch smaller than the other ones I undergo hanging up. Today I painted four paintings that connected to each other city scapes with tree roots and fire going along the bottom part. They're not done yet and I'm worried I won't undergo enough motivation creatively to finish them tonight. When I finish this I'm gonna go up and try to finish them up. Finish it up. The way it's going so far it looks like instead of hanging them four side by side I'll do two sets of two because they go together better that one. One set will be orange and one ordain be green. I'm getting the evil eye from my mum. This is Her Computer and even though there's no other computer I could be using it's still All Hers and when She Wants It I have to Get Off The Computer Immediately. I be to get a job so I can buy a laptop or at least try to get my dad to change integrity it with me because this is so obnoxiousssss and I can't save anything anywhere and if I be to get on at night for some reason and it's locked I'm totally dicked over and it's frustrating. I'm responsible enough. I think we just can't afford 600 or 700 and we don't be to get a used one since I'll be at college soon and ugh ugh ugh. See what I convey?This is so fucking boring. A regular Saturday past time for me was hanging around the bus forbid waiting for Sam to go domiciliate around noon. This particular day was when Bryce came over and we made our characters for the new D'n'D bet being run by Ben.25 June - Dungeons and Dragons in full swing. I remember this one. Vaguely. Anyway. I didn't play many games because Sam and I kept arguing and then a couple of weeks later Sam quit as well because it wasn't worth giving up one of our days together.1 July - D'n'D supplies and a haircut. Sam and I venture into the city to pick up some new Monster Manuals get me my own dice and get me a haircut. Yep another day at TAFE with James and Aaron.8 November - Before the renovations. Holy egest here's my old desk and PC right before the construction started at Murdoch University Library. Actually the color one beside this one was mine originally but it was decrease so I was moved here... But this computer was even slower! So Amanda got onto Mike and I got a mark new computer ;-)14 November - What a strange way to end 2006! Through the years as the film and tv industry run out of good material to represent on the big and little screens producers have opted to alter re-releases of classics hoping to cash in on the story just as their original versions did. In some cases the new channel does it a whole world of improvement but there are also cases when it would have been exceed to just get the story the way it was. Sometimes it’s because of a change in the storyline making the outcome almost too ridiculous or unrecognizable. It could also be a dress in setting; what would have been originally set in 1920s London is redone to show 2001 Hong Kong. But more often than not it’s recasting the characters that alter or end the new version. Was it really necessary to enter Sabrina with Harrison cover? At any rate here is a list of films/tv shows which when cast with a particular actor/actress made me say. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?! Charlton Heston as Sherlock Holmes - He’s Ben Hur for pete’s sake! He looked uncomfortable with the pipe and he just didn’t move smoothly in that trademark Sherlock Holmes take advantage coat. Give me Jeremy Brett ANY DAY!!! Harrison Ford as Linus Larrabee in Sabrina - Well. I mentioned this already but I just had to add this here. He’s just NOT Humphrey Bogart. I’m sorry. Steve Carell as David Brent in the US equivalent of The Office - He’s a very funny guy. I’ll give him that. I just don’t buy into this whole US adaptation of The Office. He has yet to beat what John Ritter did for the “Three’s affiliate,” the US adaptation of the UK sitcom “Man About The House.” Julianne Moore as Clarice in Hannibal - She just didn’t have the same intensity as Jodie Foster did playing the same character. I felt like I was watching a like story movie. Steven Weber as bring up Torrance in the 1997 tv remake of The Shining - Now express me who can replace bring up Nicholson in The Shining? Nobody. Enough said.
