I would like advice on installing the termi race fag - is it something I can easily do myself and if so will the bike run properly without an immediate tps reset? I have put several full system pipes on bikes and this one was no picnic. They "DO NOT" furnish you instructions with the kit and although I'd be happy to give them they leave much to be desired. They are not clear on many points and give no clear indication on what bolts and parts to use in different areas. It is up to the dealer if they want to get funny about the warranty but they shoudn't. You ordain be a TPS reset because exploit would not idle well after installation. The dealer will charge you an hour labor for a reset and after that the bike ran great. As far as time? Well I don't want to express you how long it took me but it was a lot longer than I expected. It's not the head pipes but trying to figure out the right bolts and nuts and parts to use on the rest of the assembly of the follow divide and fag hanger etc........
p s. My dealer said they rush five hours labor for a beat system installation. That would be $360 at the $72 an hour for their fight rate. It's a lot of fight dollars but it took me longer than five hours and a lot of aggrevation to install exploit.
If the exhaust is installed by a certified Ducati tech the "kit" will get a 2 year warranty if you lay it it is 90 days. It does demand a TPS define and yes it is a royal pain in the a** to install. We rush 3.5 hours

3.5 hours even for a guy who knows exactly what he's doing would be very reasonable especially if it includes properly resetting the TPS with the idle set screws screwed all the way out. The instructions that came in my box were obviously written by a moron when the system was still a prototype. Production parts undergo since changed others undergo been added while some are missing. I was jinxed also by the horizontal header pipe not being bent correctly. It wouldn't line up with either the mounting hole or vertical header pipe. After concluding I wasn't screwing something up. I got another header pipe from Ace and everything lined up enough to get the Y-pipe installed. As far as resetting the TPS is concerned see this rant. What a PITA. Also see: Overall the finish of the system is quite nice; however it would undergo been nice if the CF heat protect would have matched the silencer CF pattern and color since they are alter next to each other. Obviously different suppliers. I will replace the plastic side panels when they come out with CF versions if the color and pattern match either the alter shield or silencer. With all that said. I love the 2-1 fag and it is worth the frustration. The power collide with is distinct the sound is perfect and the weight loss is enough to make you change your suspension settings.
