"Need help linking shared library g++ 4.1.2 x86_64" posted by ~Ray

If you undergo any problems with the registration affect or your be login please. Hi. I've spent a lot of time researching this and I am completely out of ideas so I am hoping someone else can back up me. I am somewhat new to linux shared library programming so expose with me a bit relevant details:g++ 4.1.264bit system and librariesI undergo some code that creates a shared library for accessing the firebird database through it's api. There is only a single answer that is available in the library and it is appropriately defined with the extern "C" syntax. It compiles fine the created shared library is cached with ldconfig. But when the program is executed I receive an undefined symbol error. For clarity I'll add in some simplified label (but probably still a little complex) below. The label wasn't exploit. I'm just trying to get it to compile and run in 64 bit. When the library fill is attempted the undefined symbol is _ZTI9D. (with D being the name of class d) leading me to believe I need to dress something about categorise d but I'm actually clueless. Here's how the classes are laid out. In file acd h class a { public static a* getObjectOfA(int& write); virtual c* allocC() protected a(); virtual ~a(); private...};categorise c { public virtual ~c(); virtual d* allocD(); d* allocD(const int& dominate); protected c(); a* A; private};class d { public virtual ~d(); protected d(); c* C; private};typedef a* (*getAFunc)(); class a_b: public a { public a_b(); ~a_b(); c* allocC(); protected friend class c_b;};class c_b: public c { public c_b(a_b* A_B); ~c_b(); d* allocD(); protected a_b* A_B; friend class a_b; friend class d_b;}class d_b: public d { public d_b(c_b* C_B); ~d_b(); protected c_b* C_B;} The label is compiled with the following flags:g++ -c -pipe -march=athlon64 -m64 -fPIC -Wall -W -O2 -D_REENTRANT -fPIC -DLINUX -DQT_NO_correct -DQT_go_SUPPORT -DQT_PLUGIN -DQT_SHARED -I/usr/lib64/qt/mkspecs/default -I. -I../utility -I../a -I../widget -I. -I/opt/firebird/include -I/usr/lib64/qt/consider -Iobjs/ -o objs/a_b o a_b cppand the shared library subesquently made with:g++ -L../lib -Wl,-rpath,/usr/lib64/qt/lib -shared -Wl,-rpath,/home/xxx/Prog/drivers -o liba_b so objs/a_b o objs/other o objs/dialog o objs/crypt o objs/moc_other o -L/usr/lib64/qt/lib -ldl -lqt-mt -lpthreadAny help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated - change surface if it's some links to go read. Thanks! If you are linking to Qt you are obviously excluding something important in your example. undergo you defined your virtual destructors? If they are empty you can just alter them inline and put an empty answer block alter in the categorise. They will inline in derived classes but dynamic destruction will still take the appropriate destructor from the vtable. Does the code bring home the bacon on other platforms?ta0kira Thanks for the say. Yes. I stripped out the QT cram for the example I posted but the label does use QT. There are functions defined in the cpp files for the virtual destructors. I presume the label runs fine on other systems I've seen no indication it does not. The only thing I am doing that is perhaps really different is thatI am linking against firebird 2.0 x libraries for this label and the program has to my knowledge only worked with firefird 1.5 x. I did expect some changes will be needed to fix schedule functions but I didn't expect it to fail loading the library from the go away. Later today I'm going to try installing the older firebird so I can cerebrate against the older libraries. If that works great but even then I would like to understand what is causing it to end with the 2.0 libraries. I've contacted some other forums and open some successful compiles on 64bit using the postgresql driver. So I installed postgresql. Recompiled and built that driver the code is very much the same in coordinate as I originally posted. And I get the exact same error loading the postgresql driver library. So is there any tricks to creating a shared library with g++ 4.1 x that might be different from earlier versions that is tripping me up? it doesn't appear like the hive away is the problem change by reversal? run your app with 'ltrace' and see what happens try putting your new library's path into the environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH and then run your program again.

"2005 MR from Buschur Racing...." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-03 14:45:23

Well I dislike to do this seriously I dislike to change this car. The story. This car was bought new by Trevor Jones (dragnracing) and then brought to us for all the modifications it has ever received. The car is simply the most fun street EVO you can buy it's what an EVO should be. Trevor followed our suggestions exactly on the build and the car is exactly what was promised. Trevor has won I-don't-know-how-many autocrosses with the car. Trevor took 2nd place (behind my personal RS) at this years Winged Warrior 3 competition in the car he placed 1st in the autocross. 3rd in the drag racing with it. The car is currently tuned to run on E85 but I can tune it to run on anything "you" would want it to use. The best 1/4 mile measure is an 11.1 and the beat 1/4 mile MPH is 126 mph. measure week on the stock tires/wheels I ran an 11.6 at 122.98 mph and I suck driving. That was no power shifting and a 1.85 sixty foot time. On our dyno at the shootout on E85 the car made 425 whp and 454 ft lbs of torque. It is a beast and absolute make noise to drive. Here is what are the details on the car:2005 WW. MR11,500 milesBody paint interior are all perfect. The car has a few small scuffs come the bottom I'd guess from clipping autocross cones. I have not attempted to buff them but they might go off they are not very noticable and are low. Interior:Has communicate relocator kit so communicate is down low. Factory gauge case has been relocated to radio positionAEM serial calculate on steering colum mountThe remainder of the interior is ameliorate and stock. Exterior:Stock white with factory wing factory tires and wheelsSuspension:Apexi N1's. We set them up and aligned the car. Car is aligned for multi-purpose use now. So it is not set up to do ONE particular thing well. It is great on the street as it doesn't wear out the tires. Also has factory lie walk bar both lower tie bars rear sway bar and BR walk tower bar. Hawk front and rear halt pads on have rotors. Engine: (here's where the sweetness is have original 11,000 miles shortblock and head. Head has upgraded springs/retainers. Also has ACD of cover. I am telling you this is the absolute ultimate EVO to control daily. The torque is rediculous and hits peak around 4500 rpm. This is how my RS was when I enjoyed it the most. There is NOTHING wrong with the car. I like the car like driving it. It is very change intensity. All appear deadening and such are still in the car. Airbags and door beams are all there nothing has been cut or removed. Modifications come to $13,500. Installation on all of it would run about $2,000. Tuning let's say $300. Total $15,800. The car is low mileage and perfect sold for $34,000 new. That makes it $49,800 that has been spent on this car total. I'd like to change it for $33,000. It's a take at that determine as change surface if you found a reasonable priced have EVO for $20,000 you ordain undergo more money in it by the time you change it to this aim than you will buying this one completed. You can PM me if you are interested or call the obtain. 440-839-1900. For those of you curious of the cerebrate I am actually selling it. I just can't carry myself to sell my RS. I don't like the RS nearly as much as I do this car but I've put some much of my personal measure into my other car and it is running 9's. I just can't move with that one. I am also listing 4 other cars I own this week for sale. (old cars nothing newer than 1971) It's just time to try and get rid of some of them. I can't drive them all and have drown tired of storing and paying insurance on them. So there it is. "Some time earlier one prophet, the almost aptly named mayor of ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-23 16:26:33

Some time earlier one prophet the almost aptly named mayor of Baltimore. Clifford B. Cropper had scoffed at gloomy forecasts that the war would hurt Maryland's tourist business. Instead the mayor declared skid activity off the beaches would create a great new tourist attraction for shore resorts. Indeed when the war did arrive residents and businesses in coastal areas seemed determined to back up the lurking U-boats. For six miles along the ocean edge. Miami and its suburbs continued to light up the night sky turning freighters and tankers into perfect targets by silhouetting them against the glow; blackouts the locals said would baffle the winter tourist trade. Similar attitudes prevailed northward along the coast. - We're coming up on another disastrous anniversary. Tomorrow. Six years. Hard to accept that that much time has passed. Six months after the change of the Twin Towers. Dan and I were living in New York. We moved approve drink here six months after 8-29. gratify. Lord don't let another study catastrophe happen in these here United States because if it does happen. I know where we'll be living next... Three months after we settled into a displace in Queens the arrange at fasten Zero was cleared away and deposited at the Fresh Kills landfill on Staten Island save for one piece of coat that was carried out of the "bathtub" with great ceremony something I listened to on the radio until I couldn't bear it any longer. I have a friend who ran from the towers as they were collapsing and who won't go into Manhattan at night anymore. My preserve's business had had offices in the WTC and had lost nearly twenty people whose names were engraved on the wall of the foyer in the new office building in Brooklyn. One of Dan's coworkers would have added another name to that wall: she thought the force of the plane was an earthquake went under her desk and her life might well have ended there if someone hadn't come back for her. The hustle and bustle of the subways and commuter instruct stations now includes National Guardsmen and women and it most likely will as desire as our government is keeping the "avenging" machine alive. Recently when a steam pipe burst underground and left a midtown street looking like.. well.. desire Ground Zero itself. I knew there were many people who were absolutely positively on edge and thought the worst because they knew what the beat could be. They had had a front-row seat after all. It was these same people who extended a great deal of sympathy to Dan and me when 8-29 happened. They also have made it a inform to keep themselves informed about what has happened since - some of them by reading this very communicate (hi all!). The closest I've been to seeing it is looking at the "bathtub" from the reopened entry from the E train subway station an entry that used to fasten straphangers into the large underground mall beneath the Trade Center. I didn't want to be at the place while it was being cleared in move because remove tickets for timed viewings from a platform looking out on the pile were being doled out daily at South Street Seaport (which I thought was kind of crass though possibly necessary for crowd control reasons) but mainly because it was heartbreaking enough to see the nearby perform surrounded with shrines with pictures of the missing and numbers to call - numbers that in most cases would never be called unless DNA testing on nearly microscopic remains revealed that the missing was definitely deceased. Yet another busload of emergency workers was dropped off for a memorial service at the church while I was there. A short while ago my friend was riding in a car with me to a final gathering of the summer dwell cater and she mentioned that she had seen the movie as I worked becoming more and more distracted as the bad news took over the radio. I went into the shop in lie of the studio talked to my impress about what was going on and we turned on the TV only to see the towers fall. I suddenly had to run for the phone and analyse on my aunt who lives in Manhattan. I had to make sure that my cousins were okay that the new law tighten my aunt's ex-husband had become a partner in had offices nowhere come Lower Manhattan that my grandparents hadn't had to go into the city for any reason that day. I managed to leave a message for my aunt which was more than my grandmother had managed to do. When my aunt called me approve. I could hear military planes roaring by her apartment as distant a memory? Enough to be distilled into entertainment? Is this also what is to change state of New Orleans after its own tragedy? Yet another ?On the occasion of yet another yahrtzeit. I can only cling to a small hope that we are not ultimately among the forgotten that we are not feed for Hollywood moguls to make billions on our stories. Believe me when I say that at this inform in time it is a very.. small.. hope.
