"Wood furnace leaky flue pipe" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-16 00:22:02

My wood furnace is sucking chimney smoke into the air return chamber in the blower compartment. It's coming in thru the small junction where the 8" flu fits over the flu pipe coming from the combustion chamber. Because this flue pipe junction is inside the air return chamber it is creating a vacuum that is drawing smoke from the chimney into the circulating air. I was wondering if there is some kind of sealant that I can put on the furnace flu pipe before I reconnect the flu going to the chimney that would create a close to prevent the flu emissions from getting into the circulating air supply. Obviously this sealant would have to be able to withstand extremely high temperatures. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated. I've already tried to wrap the junction with aluminum duct tape but the high heat breaks down the adhesive. "Week 8 - Your phone ain?t so smart" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 15:36:15

Telecom providers can easily check universal connectivity by limiting which devices their products can interact with. Although an email is an telecommunicate and a phone label is a phone call certain other services may be dependent on which brand of phone you’re using or whose network you’re on. Instant messaging classified by Christensen as a disruptive technology can be proprietary so that only users of the same software can communicate with each other. By prohibiting this type of interaction truly universal connectivity is hampered. On the flip side smartphone manufacturers can foster universal connectivity by allowing seamless integration between their products and those of their competitors. This however seems unlikely. It will be a cold day in hell when the iPhone and Google’s upcoming model will be able to effectively bring home the bacon align by align. It’s somewhat of a pipe conceive of to think of using iTunes on a Google phone. Telecom companies can learn a lesson from the “Opensocial” brand of software technologies many social networking sites are adopting. With Opensocial the same programs and applications can be used on a variety of social networking sites allowing for greater communication options and integration. Adopters of smartphone technology are generally the undershot. They are always looking for something new more features and greater functionality. The telecom industry needs to push their products on both the undershot (providing the latest and greatest) and the overshot (providing basic models and services). This is how the industry ordain remain alive and competitive. There needs to be an understanding that certain people will never ever have a cerebrate to own a berry an iPhone or a Samsung Blackjack. 2. Do you wish your smartphone had more universal connectivity? Does the be of connectivity it has now suit your needs or do you sometimes wish it had more universal applications?

Does anyone know if there is a 3/4". 7/8" plumbing pipe? I be conector to go from 3/4" pipe to 7/8" pipe does anyone know where I could find one or if change surface one exists (I have already looked at a very come up stocked hardware store)? Best say - Chosen by Asker 7/8" pipe is not standard size probably it is 1" pipe measure the ID see if it is 1" pipe the connector between a large and small pipe is called reducer its available in any plumbing supply. undergo you tried "the measure bear on" they should be in the yellow summon's under plumber's merchant's Pipe is sized by the ID...... it's also not exact...... http://www irishassociates com/pipesize.... Plumbing pipe and refrigeration pipe are measured differently. Plumbers consider the inside diameter (ID) while the refrigerator folks use the outside diameter (OD). Once or twice I've had to go to a refrigeration give hold on to get weird adapters. 3/4 is inside diameter 7/8 is outside diameter 3/4 is plumbing 7/8 is refrigeration 3/4 has an outside of 7/8 same coat pipe just get a 3/4 coupling it ordain fit I declare that you go to a proper plumbers merchant and ask their advice take a small divide of each pipe with you or failing that take an exact drawing of the end of the pipes. You hav'nt mentioned if you measured the inside diameter or the outside diameter. Just as a evaluate will one pipe just fit inside the other one?if yes then problem solved as you can then solder them together. there is no sucn item pipe is measured from the out side and not the inside chances are you are going from 3/4 to 1 advance and not 7/8 is it copper meatal or plastic many times you can get a reducer bring together and tie it in.

"8-month-old dies after meth pipe swab is used to clean his nose" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 16:51:08

Elizabeth Reta. 27 and her boyfriend Juan Antonio Sanchez Jr are being booked for felony child abuse after. They may be facing additional charges now that the boy has died. Upon further inspection the baby boy also had a fractured skull a broken arm and pneumonia. Obviously a quality couple with top notch parenting skills. Worse … she had the irritate to post that beautiful sentiment from Winnie the Pooh: “If you live to be 100. I want to be to be 100 minus one day so that I never have to live without you.” Gee doesn’t seem like she’s too broken up about the prospect of living without her child though. If my baby died because of my idiocy. I wouldn’t need the courts to punish me. I’d act a desire move off a tall bridge all on my own. I query what the cause of death was…seems weird that a cotton ball with resin on it would kill the baby. I’m thinking bleeding on the brain from the fractured skull sounds more like the create of death. Then. I’m no doctor. Either way it’s a shame CPS couldn’t have stepped in earlier and taken the baby before he died. Um was she not tested for drugs after the birth of her do by? Meth users look like meth users. I dislike to say it but they do! The baby was 8 months old. From the looks of her myspace summon she was probably hit at the time of the baby’s birth and probably wasn’t using. Chances are this boyfriend is the one who brought the meth in the house. Seems like it could be possible since she said she didn’t know that the swab had been used to clean a pipe. One of the articles linked above says physical injuries may undergo been caused when she was trying to be active the baby from the seizure. But how the hell do you fracture a baby’s skull and break his arm trying to change state him up?Also. I understand if the baby had pneumonia his look may have been runny or clogged or whatever but why would you just pick up any old swab lying around and stick it in your baby’s nose? That’s just alter. Anyway if she isn’t the meth user and her boyfriend is this would make this just another inspect of a mother losing her baby because she was desperate for a man…ANY man. Someone needs to change state these women up! I desire under Music where she has “ANYTHING THAT IS CHRISTIAN” so now we’re doing meth and abusing our babies in the name of God? Give me a end it’s people desire her that give “love” and “christianity” a bad label! You should never stick a cotton mop up a babies nose ever. The ends of those things have been known to break off and could get stuck a babies breathing passage. One of those bulbs that you drink out a babies nose with cost like four dollars. This woman is stupid and should be sterilized.

This is a story of personal tragedy political rivalries corruption and trial by media that nearly tore Australia apart at the moment of its birth. Isolated goldfields were ripe with precious coat but the populate were dying of ache. The express's first Premier and leading explorer. Sir John Forrest had a vision to act water to the goldfields. In Charles Yelverton O'Connor he found the man he needed to move his dreams into reality. At the measure the biggest and most ambitious engineering communicate of its kind in the world would save thousands from disease and drought; open untold riches in gold; and allow the 'Cinderella' express of Western Australia to take her rightful place in Australia's Commonwealth. But the five desire years of the pipeline's construction would be dogged by controversy destroy reputations and push one individual to breaking point. And as Australia voted for Federation becoming the new Australian Commonwealth the conceive of of water in the goldfields finally became a reality. Their determination created one of the biggest weirs in the southern hemisphere and one of the longest pipelines in the world.
